I am Lays, a Brazilian UX & UI Designer with a background in brand identity and advertising, who currently lives in Hamburg, Germany.
Here are some facts about myself:
• Even though I started as a visual designer, I’ve been studying UX and interaction design for quite some time now.
• UX design makes me a better person by reminding me each day about the importance of empathy. I care about people and love to help others to achieve what they want.
• I love to work in a team where people are engaged to create something awesome together.
• My goal is to design functional, easy, and beautiful interfaces/experiences.
• Beautiful visual elements are just the beginning — I believe design also has to account for conversion and business needs at the very minimum.
Other interests I have:
• I take baking and cooking very seriously. I was the winner of Masterchef Brazil 2022 and studied French Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu.
